Chi sono 

Matteo Pierozzi was born in Florence on December 24th in 1978, he attended the art school "Leon Battista Alberti" and the Accademia di Belle Arti of Florence in sculpture,
As he matured, he learned to think about art as a form of expression as free and lively art.
Matteo developed his technique at his father's workshop, an expert sculpture in San Casciano.
Florence, its atmosphere, its forms and its historical beauties are Matteo's source of inspiration that he reworks with a personal style.Matteo chose "the toreutica": the art of embossing and chisel, a noble and ancient art already practiced by Egyptians, Cretans Greeks and Romans, and made it personal. Matteo does not use the chisel in a decorative sense but he creates sculptures using metals such as brass, copper, silver.

This makes Matteo Pierozzi's art unique.

Nasce a Firenze il 24 dicembre del 1978, ha frequentato il liceo artistico "Leon Battista Alberti" e scultura all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze , crescendo artisticamente in un ambiente dove l'arte è forma di espressione libera e vivace. Affina la sua tecnica nella bottega di suo padre, esperto cesellatore in San Casciano. Firenze, la sua atmosfera, le sue forme e le sue bellezze storiche sono la sua fonte d'ispirazione che rielabora con una stile decisamente personale. Matteo sceglie "la toreutica" ovvero l'arte dello sbalzo e del cesello, un'arte nobile e antica già praticata da Egizi, Cretesi, Greci e Romani, e la rende personale. Matteo non usa il cesello in senso decorativo ma crea delle sculture usando i metalli quali l'ottone, il rame, l'argento. Questo rende il lavoro di Matteo Pierozzi unico nel suo genere.
